OUR STORY

With a true sense of place established in Little Cayman, the Tibbetts Family has pioneered thoughtful and sustainable development throughout the Sister Islands. Thirty years ago, Mr. Dan Tibbetts and his father Mr. Linton Tibbetts built Little Cayman Beach Resort and founded Reef Divers – opening the island to guests from around the world.

In 2002, Dan developed The Club at Little Cayman, which was ahead of its time and still represents the finest accommodations on the island. Fast forward to the present, Dan’s three children, Michael, Emily, and Jessica continue to carry on their family’s legacy, embracing the preservation of the Sister Islands while investing in the future for generations to come.

With this ethos at the forefront, Michael, Emily, and Jessica have partnered with the Arch family, founders of Cayman’s premier construction firm to elevate their father’s vision to yet another level, continuing to be ahead of its time, MAREA is born.
